Romans

This portion of Al-Kitab takes its name from people to whom it was originally written–followers of ‘Isa al-Masih who lived in the city of Rome. The apostle Paul (pbuh) wrote it while staying in the city of Corinth in Achaia province (part of modern-day Greece). A major theme of this scripture is the good news of the grace of Allah toward sinful men. Through a series of questions and answers, it explains why all men are in need of forgiveness of their sins. It goes on to describe how Allah has made an arrangement so that his forgiveness can be experienced now by those who believe him. It is worthy of careful reading and study.
