Nehemiah 3

Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brothers the priests, and they built the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up its doors; even to the tower of Hammeah they sanctified it, to the tower of Hananel. 2Next to him built the men of Jericho. Next to them built Zaccur Ibn Imri. 3The fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build; they laid its beams, and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars. 4Next to them repaired Meremoth Ibn Uriah, Ibn Hakkoz. Next to them repaired Meshullam Ibn Berechiah, IbnMeshezabel. Next to them repaired Zadok Ibn Baana. 5Next to them the Tekoites repaired; but their nobles did not put their necks to the work of their lord. 6The old gate repaired Joiada Ibn Paseah and Meshullam Ibn Besodeiah; they laid its beams, and set up its doors, and its bolts, and its  bars. 7Next to them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, that appertained to the throne of the governor beyond the River. 8Next to him repaired Uzziel Ibn Harhaiah, goldsmiths. Next to him repaired Hananiah one of the perfumers, and they fortified Jerusalem even to the broad wall. 9Next to them repaired Rephaiah Ibn Hur, the ruler of half the district of Jerusalem. 10Next to them repaired Jedaiah Ibn Harumaph, over against his house. Next to him repaired Hattush Ibn Hashabneiah. 11Malchijah Ibn Harim, and Hasshub Ibn Pahath-moab, repaired another portion, and the tower of the furnaces. 12Next to him repaired Shallum Ibn Hallohesh, the ruler of half the district of Jerusalem, he and his daughters. 13The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up its doors, bolts, and bars, and one thousand cubits of the wall to the dung gate. 14The dung gate repaired Malchijah Ibn Rechab, the ruler of the district of Beth Haccherem; he built it, and set up its doors, bolts, and bars. 15The spring gate repaired Shallun Ibn Colhozeh, the ruler of the district of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up its doors, bolts, and bars, and the wall of the pool of Shelah by the king’s garden, even to the stairs that go down from the city of Dawud. 16After him repaired Nehemiah Ibn Azbuk, the ruler of half the district of Beth Zur, to the place over against the tombs of Dawud, and to the pool that was made, and to the house of the mighty men. 17After him repaired the Levites, Rehum Ibn Bani. Next to him repaired Hashabiah, the ruler of half the district of Keilah, for his district. 18After him repaired their brothers, Bavvai Ibn Henadad, the ruler of half the district of Keilah. 19Next to him repaired Ezer Ibn Yusha, the ruler of Mizpah, another portion, over against the ascent to the armoury at the turning of the wall. 20After him Baruch IbnZabbai earnestly repaired another portion, from the turning of the wall to the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest. 21After him repaired Meremoth Ibn Uriah IbnHakkoz another portion, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib. 22After him repaired the priests, the men of the Plain. 23After them repaired Binyamin and Hasshub over against their house. After them repaired Azariah Ibn Maaseiah Ibn Ananiah beside his own house. 24After him repaired Binnui IbnHenadad another portion, from the house of Azariah to the turning of the wall, and to the corner. 25Palal Ibn Uzai repaired over against the turning of the wall, and the tower that stands out from the upper house of the king, which is by the court of the guard. After him Pedaiah Ibn Parosh repaired. 26(Now the Nethinim lived in Ophel, to the place over against the water gate toward the east, and the tower that stands out.) 27After him the Tekoites repaired another portion, over against the great tower that stands out, and to the wall of Ophel. 28Above the horse gate repaired the priests, everyone over against his own house. 29After them repaired Zadok Ibn Immer over against his own house. After him repaired Shemaiah Ibn Shecaniah, the keeper of the east gate. 30After him repaired Hananiah Ibn Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, another portion. After him repaired Meshullam Ibn Berechiah over against his chamber. 31After him repaired Malchijah one of the goldsmiths to the house of the Nethinim, and of the merchants, over against the gate of Hammiphkad, and to the ascent of the corner. 32Between the ascent of the corner and the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.
